Client Services Engineering Team Leader
Client Services Engineering Team Leader
The Client Services Engineering Team Leader will lead a team to architect and implement custom solutions for Britemoon's clients. The team leader must possess the mentoring, leadership and technical skills to teach the team members, be a point of escalation and make technical decisions based on organizational standards and guidelines. Design responsibilities include writing formal engineering specifications and developing time estimates for implementation leveraging the Britemoon platform, XML interfaces, Javascript, SQL and HTML. The Engineering Team Lead will also supervise the work of team members to insure that engineering efforts produce high quality, low maintenance, and scalable solutions for clients.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership on all engineering work for the team
- Assist in the development of project requirements and timelines
- Mentor team's engineers
- Perform coding on some project work
- Responsible for scope, design, and implementation of all project work on the team
- Provide day to day assistance to engineers and production developers to support the team's accounts
- Supervise team engineers' compliance with engineering guidelines and standards
Experience
- Five to seven years experience developing and implementing business applications in a fast-paced environment
- Three to five years experience using Javascript
- Three to five years experience using SQL
- Two to four years experience working as lead in a team environment
- Experience running projects that are on time and under budget
Skills
- Superior ability to work with clients to define deliverables and develop value-adding solutions
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional knowledge of SQL, XSL and XML
- Proficient in HTML, Javascript and CSS style sheets
- Knowledge of database marketing and Customer Relationship Management tools
- Solid quantitative/analytical skills
- A positive, energetic attitude
Education
BA/BS required, Computer Science or related degree preferred
